WebWorks TrainingOverviewPrerequisitesParticipants should be experienced with the platform (Mac, Windows, UNIX) that they will be using. Users should be capable of navigating within the system, opening and closing files, creating directories, finding and opening applications, and using the mouse. It is also recommended that users have some knowledge of basic documentation standards and a basic knowledge of FrameMaker. Basic TopicsThe first two days of WebWorks training are designed for beginning WebWorks users who will do most of their work using templates that have been designed by someone else or the templates included with the application. The users will learn how to use WebWorks in conjunction with FrameMaker and make minor adjustments to the formats set up in the template. Mastery of these topics will enable participants to perform the following tasks:
Advanced Topics OverviewThese topics are designed for WebWorks users who have been using the tool and are ready to create and maintain templates for complex documents. PrerequisitesParticipants will have the experience to complete all tasks included under the basic topics. To be fair to other participants and to keep the course on schedule, it is important that users are familiar with the material covered with the basic topics. An intermediate to advanced knowledge of FrameMaker is also a big plus. Advanced TopicsThese topics are designed to provide users with the skills to perform the following tasks:
